Don't go into the water!
Keep out!
Danger!
Sharks!
That is what the beach authorities are telling people if they decide to go to the beach. Sharks are present: they've been here for the past week (or so) and already several people have been severely bitten (and two killed).
It's as if the movie "Jaws" has come to life.
I have seen the sharks swimming around in the waters. Hammerheads mainly. Nothing to mess around with.
The latest attack happened yesterday. A man who was swimming got his leg nearly bitten off. It was nasty. I saw it happen; I have been having shark-infested dreams ever since, excepting that I'm the victim. I end up getting my legs bitten clean off my body. Both of them.
I am surprised I haven't awakened the dead in their graves! Bad enough I nearly tried to wake up the entire neighborhood! My wife said if I have one more bad dream she's going to brain me with a baseball bat that she keeps beside the bed.
Suddenly Paradise isn't so .... sweet. If anything, Paradise has become hell on earth, what with these damned sharks attacking (or even killing) people!
I don't like sharks. Never have, never will. I hate them now more than ever. It's too bad that we can't even enjoy the nice weather or even go for a refreshing dip in the water because some stupid shark might be lurking in the waters, just waiting to have somebody for lunch!!
If this doesn't ease up soon, I just might end up moving to Alaska!!
~To be continued.~
