Tori continues to suspect that her boyfriend may be a vampire. He is as weird and as aloof as ever.

Image of moon (c) 2010, by Karla Dorman.

I continue to suspect that Brick Chance Moldave, my boyfriend, may be a human vampire ... or maybe a vampire in human form.

He is acting as weird as ever.  I mean, Brick continues to wear long sleeves, even in the heat of summer (how he manages to do that without passing out, I have no clue), even wearing dark sunglasses (to hide the deep, dark-purple circles surrounding his icy, aurora-blue eyes, I suspect), and still claiming that he is severely allergic to the sun.

Uh, huh.  Yeah, right.  Somehow I don't believe him.

Brick is as skinny as ever.  In fact, he looks like he's lost even more weight.  If I were him, I'd go to the doctor's, to see why he has been losing weight.  At school, he eats like a horse; it's a wonder where he keeps putting all that food!  He continues to wear dark-red, dark-grey, or black clothes: not a splash of vibrancy to be found anywhere.  It is rather depressing.

In addition, Brick is as pale as ever.  In fact, he's about as white as this piece of paper I am currently writing on.  The only thing bright (or healthy looking) is his lips, which are a bright, vivid scarlet-red in color.

He keeps wanting to put his paws all over me or kiss me (preferably on the neck).  I do everything possible to tell Brick to "keep his hands to himself" or avoid his kisses.  Somehow, I think he wants to bite me on the neck, and if he does, then maybe I'll find out if he truly IS a vampire.  He sure acts a lot like a vampire!  He creeps me out!

I suppose I could just dump him for another guy, but I'm afraid of the repercussions: maybe if I dump him, he and his posse' (also Dracula wannabes) will hunt me down and suck all the blood from my body.

Somehow I wouldn't put it past them.  Seems that Brick and his friends all have longer-than-normal teeth, the same pale, pale skin, dark, wild, black hair, light-colored eyes, and skinny, sickly build.

I don't know why Brick doesn't want to go dancing with me or out to the mall.  He has come up with practically every excuse in the book, saying that crowds scare him or that he has an appointment with some shrink or that he has something cooking in the oven.

Maybe he thinks I am boring or perhaps maybe Brick thinks I'm too suspicious of him.  Well?  I can't help it!  Brick Moldave is unlike any guy I have ever seen and I don't know what to do!  Do I keep staying with him or do I just dump him and forget about him??
