Jasmine and Jasper are growing by leaps and bounds, they make me so proud! They have been with us for nearly three years now, both are nearly twelve. Jasmine continues to struggle with the injuries that landed her in the chair, but her acceptance is better. She now has a great circle of friends and of course her identical twin sister, instead of the why me attitude she used to have Jasmine has a better attitude. I have even heard her saying jokingly at least they can tell us apart now Jasper.
Jasper is ever the Mother hen with her sister, and when we added another child to our family, a three year old from Russia she acted as if she had been given a real life baby doll. Nadia came to us just a year ago, she had spent her life in an orphanage abandoned because she has Cerebral Palsy.
It was Louisiana Sandusy and Kendra who showed us the joys of adopting children who needed us, Jasmine and Jasper were our first, but they certainly are not going to be our last, just a few months after we adopted Nadia we found ourselves in the process of adopting three sisters from Africa, one severely disabled, the other two simply starving for food and love. We brought them home to us this Christmas, Hope, Faith and Love we call them, because it took alot of that to get them this far.
We will adopt more too, perhaps someday we will have a house full like the Sandusly's, The Kent's.
Well I better go Jasmine is calling me, time for her therapy session then it's time for bed, church in the morning for all of us.
