I wish Tangie was my sister ... she and I get along very well most of the time. We do fight sometimes, but it's rare when we do. Most of the time we're like toast and butter, oatmeal with milk, or strawberries with sugar on top.
Tangerine Owens lives a few houses down from me; she's been my best friend since kindergarten. She and I know each other's deepest, darkest secrets: there's nothing that we have hidden from one another: we tell each other everything!
Tangie makes me laugh: she knows the best jokes and she is talented at doing different cartoon voices and sings like an angel. She has always been something of an actress; in fact, she wants to BE an actress when she grows up and has already been in a few local commericals and productions. Tangie is very good at what she does!
I've found that Tangerine and I have a lot in common: we both love to laugh, sing, crack jokes, play Scrabble or Concentration together, play soccer, hackysack, or baseball, play on the computer, write stories, and read (we both love zombie books or monster books best). We also love to go to church every Sunday, where we both sing in the children's choir.
In real life I don't have any sisters. I only have one brother, Teagan, and he's a baby. If I could have a sister, I would want her to be just like Tangerine Owens. I love Tangerine so much and sometimes people say we should BE sisters, although she is black and I am Mexican-American. Heaven knows, we get along like brother and sister: we're very close and are usually always together!
