A man confronts his father in front of the congregation about molesting him as a child.

Walter sat stone and cold while his father's voice echoed in the room full of parishioners who clapped and sang the praises of Amen. He observed the man who he resembles him the tall frame, hazel eyes, and caramel skin. He balls his fist, his teeth clench, the sweat that pours down his forehead. His badge of honor was putting people like his father away who prey on innocent boys and girls. The topic of his father’s sermon is Wolves in Sheep's clothing and as the crowd jump up and screamed,

" Preach Bishop. You telling the truth."

No one could phantom the fact the great Bishop was talking about himself. That his father was the wolf who wore those sheep's clothing and crept in his bed and did ungodly acts on him. Walter watched his father and the flash backs of his cries of pains being watched out by his father’s moans of pleasure sickened him. His father voice spoke of liars, thieves, homosexuality, and lustful behavior. What caused him to jump up when he talk about the predators of the dark, the men women allow to sleep in their home when they desire to have perverted sex with their sons and daughters.

Walter felt as if his whole body had been set on fire. Tears, rage, and anger spilled out of him. He wanted to approach the pulpit and pull out the gun issued to him by the Buffalo Police Department and shoot every bullet in his father's chest. Instead he walked out because he was not worth him losing his badge and doing life imprisonment. He walked outside and vomited.

He sat in his truck and right there he cried like an infant, the ugly cry that Oprah talked about. The pain was too much to bear and the secret he kept since he was six years old was finally attacking him. So to combat the fact he was a victim rape and incest by the hands of his father he worked countless hours not being able to sleep. He became a cop so he could save lives and put the bastards away who harm children. It was because no one saved him. No one to stop the wolf know as his father, the man of God from creeping his bed on his tenth birthday and raping him No one heard his cries and no matter how many of the pedophiles he put away. The one that roam free for years hugging and kissing children was getting away with murder.

“ No more father. No more.” He  yelled to the sky.

Walter needed the people to know what type of man his father the Great Bishop Gerald Good was and the secret he held was about to be revealed. It haunted his dreams, it changed him for life and he was no longer gonna let him get away with what he did to him. He walked back in the church and it was the time of testimony. His father saw the fire and rage in his son's eyes. He pulled out his badge and his gun. Walter cleared his throat and cough because he was about to do what he never had the strength to do.

" Bishop Gerald Good I have a testimony. Father may I tell my testimony?"

Walter and his father stood toe to toe, eye to eye. His father  cleared his throat and rubbed his hands over his face.Walter stood still with the cigarette dangling from his mouth. The congregation stare at Walter and then Bishop Good.

He stutters, " Speak son but speak only the truth." Walter smirked at his father and took a deep drag of his cigarette; he pulled it out of his mouth and plucked it in his father's face. His hired security rose but the father ushered for them to sit.

" My father the Great Bishop Gerald Good is a man of great words and he speaketh it for many years. Today he spoke of wolves in sheep's clothing and my God what a great sermon. Yet he forgot to mention that he was a wolf that climb in my bed at the age of six in the dark and pull back the covers where his son slept. He took my pajamas and underwear down and he perform oral sex on me. It where it began in the dark and he took away my ability to sleep. He kissed me goodnight. Every Sunday after he told his sermons was when the sheep became the wolf. The Great Bishop Gerald Good would make his only child do the same and he would repeatedly molest me. For years I suffer and torture myself of how a man of God could do this to his child. Then today you said it a wolf in Sheep's Clothing. The wolf that dresses as a Great man of God was the wolf that dances with Satan at night.  He took his penis and shoved it in my behind at ten years old. You ask me to speak the truth and that the truth. The man in sheep’s clothing is a wolf who preys on other little boys and me. Father, the Great Gerald Good please tell  your flock the truth. Tell them what you've done. You owe them and me that. The truth"

Walter’s tears fell but he never left his father's eyes. He waited for the man to tell him why to he did those things to him, to speak his truth. He felt the cold steel in his hand and his trigger  finger itching to murder the man who taketh away his innocence. His large sobs prevented him from doing the unthinkable. His father looked at his son and he knew every word he said was the gospel. He had too much to lose; he'd disappoint people and could not reveal the wolf he was.

"Son, I never done no such thing. Why would you lie on me?"

His father moving away from his son’s eyes and congregation. Walter held up the evidence from a young man who had reported the act of crime his father did to him a year ago. He read each charge of crime his father did to the young man. Who trusted him and befriended him as his godfather. Each word was a strain to get out because the tears choke him. The truth hurt him more than to anything to say his father was a perverted pedophile.

Walter eyes widen and he raised the gun to his father head. His fingers pulling the trigger, the bullet hitting his father head and the sound of the gun seem real. It was his imagination and it was what he wanted to do instead he pull out his handcuffs.

" You are under arrest for the molestation of Walter Good. You have the right to remain silent anything you say or do will be use against you in the court of law. You have the right to an attorney and if you can not afford one. One will be appointed to you. Do you understand your rights the Great Bishop Gerald Good?

His father looked among his parishioner's as his son handcuffed him.   He lowers his head and spoke,

"Son, I'm sorry for what I did to you."

The officers took away the Bishop and for the first  time he felt free from the Secrets of the Dark. The big bad wolf would no longer wear sheep's clothing to hurt Walter or any other boy.
