Molly Rain Sky is my name. I am nine years old. I live with my family in Pueblo, Colorado. I have a mother and a father, two sisters (Raven Storm and Rainbow Sunshine, who are ten and six), and a baby brother, Jackson Crow, who is a year old.
I am in the third grade at Raventree Elementary School. My teacher is Mrs. Antelope.
We live on a reservation. It's always been my home. I love it here; it is so peaceful and I have many friends, especially at school and at church, which we attend every Sunday and Wednesday. Tonight is church night, so I will be at Bible Study with my friends. I always enjoy learning about god and his son, Jesus.
I like to do many things, among them being soccer, baseball, running, and dancing the Indian dances, singing, knitting, croocheting, drawing, reading, writing stories and poems, watching tv (American Idol, though I will miss it tonight 'cause of church!), and gong to pow-wows. I love watching the storms as they pass over; lightning is my favorite part of the storm. I like to think of them as the spirits dancing for our enjoyment and our ancestors who have passed before us greeting us with happy hellos.
When I grow up I want to be a photographer (taking pictures is another thing I love) or a storm chaser.
Well, I hate to go, but it is time for my next class, which is Music. I will write in here again with more stories about me and my family. I hope you will like what I will write, and I hope you liked what I wrote today. Until later, this is Molly Rain Sky saying good bye! I will talk to you again!
~Molly Rain, your new friend in Colorado.
