Single African American women learn how to use what they got to build a prefect relationship with men they thought was imposible.

                                                       Sex Life

“Stacy! Why are you telling your friends about our sex life? I don’t want any of your friends knowing what we do in our bedroom!”
I look at Stacy with angrier on my face as she walks toward me with a puzzle look. She says, “I haven’t told anybody anything about our sex life, Ricky. Besides that, I don’t know any of them women at your job.”
She rabbles through the mail on the kitchen counter with a puzzle look on her face. As I look at the reaction on Stacy face, doubts run through my mind. Maybe she didn’t tell anyone about our sex life. I’m just tired from working seven days a week and twelve hours a day. Trying a deep breath, I walk over toward Stacy and give her a kiss on the back of her neck. She turns around and looks at me. This time her face is more at eased and not puzzled. She places her right hand on my left cheek as she rubs my face gently. She smiles at me and I smile back at her. In my mind, I am thinking that I was wrong to blow up on Stacy. I should have asked her first when entering the house from work. Stacy begins to give me little small kisses on lips as she continues to rub my face. I close my eyes because I am now relaxed. She knows just what to do to make me feel good. My eyes are still close and my hormones start raging out of control. I reach to unbutton my shirt and Stacy starts to talk.
“Baby, you know that I would never do anything to hurt you. Well, at least not on purpose.”
I continue to unbutton my shirt not really listening to Stacy with my eyes closed. I have had a hard day at work today and all I want to do is relax. While unbuttoning the second button on my shirt, Stacy catches my hands. Mine hands are tried from working all day, so I don’t fight back. Stacy talks as she gives me little soft kisses around my mouth.
“I just told my cousin Shanique about our sex life and that was it.”
Frowning up after hearing the name Shanique, I open my eyes. I stare at Stacy again angrily for a minute. I ask myself while staring at Stacy, “Am I hearing her right? Did she say what I just thought she said? I take a deep breath as I shake my head. She still has her hands placed on my cheeks. I remove her hands aggressively by knocking them down away from my face. I walk away from Stacy heading toward the bedroom.
“Ricky, she wouldn’t have breath a word about what we talk about amongst each other. You know, we talk about these things all the time. Everyone does, Ricky.”
Doubting Stacy every word, I shout out, “Oh, really, Stacy. Your cousin got our business all over my dam job! I thought that I was just being delusional today at work because they have been working the shit out of me at Grand Gulf. But it true , you have been talking about what we do in our bedroom to other women. Allen told me that and I was the fool to not listen him. I thought I was walking around butt naked how the women kept staring at my dick.”
“Allen told you what!” Stacy gives me a very suspicious look. She waits a couple of second before she says anything. “What did Allen say, Ricky? I don’t have anything to hide.” She says it with attitude like I’m wrong for listening to him. She stands at the kitchen bar still waiting for an answer.
“He told me this before that you were telling Shanique our business. I didn’t believe it until a woman walked up to me today and said something only you should know about.”
“And what was that?”
“She asked me could she see my scorpion shape birth marked that is on my left side of my ass. No one should know about that!”
“Who have you been sleeping with at your job? That doesn’t prove that Shanique said anything. That only proves that you’re a lair.”
“Stacy, I hardly say anything to those women at work. It’s your cousin that is friends with almost half of the women at my job trying to keep up with Allen. She talks to those women trying to see if he’s dating anyone there, but little do she knows that giving up information about me won’t get her anywhere. Some of those women have been trying to get with me since they first started and for you to say I’m a lair for your mistakes are wrong. I love you and only you, Stacy. Can you see that?”
Stacy says nothing, but looks at me shamefully. I shake my head as I walk off.  I walk toward the bedroom in disgusted from Stacy while she is now sitting on a bar stool in the kitchen.  As I walk into the bedroom, I see a red dress trim with diamonds lying on my bed. I guess Stacy is going to bible study again tonight. I pick up the dress and lay it on the chair that is beside the bed. I sit at the end of the bed and take another deep breath. I feel drained as I begin to take off my clothes. It’s nothing like a nice shower after a hard day at work.  I need to definitely clear my mind after my wild day at work. As I am getting undress, I leave nothing on, but my briefs. I walk toward the bathroom as I hear running water coming from the bathroom. I can see the steam coming from underneath the bathroom door. I shout out, “Stacy, what have I told you about leaving this bathroom shower on. If I start making you pay some of these bills, you will think twice about leaving the shower running all the time.” As I reach out for the doorknob, the bathroom door swings open. The steam from the bathroom comes rushing out as I jump back. I am startle after seeing what stands in front of me as the steam clears the bathroom. A coco brown skin woman standing glistening wet in front of me and I have no idea who she is.
