AAIIEE!! Laissez les bon temps rouler, chere's!! Let the fun and partyin' begin!!

Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux here.  This may be the only time I get to write this weekend, so this probably won't be too long.  The Crawfish Festival kicked off nearly two hours ago, and already things are jumpin' and the food is cookin'!  YUM!  The main events kick off tomorrow (Friday), but today's a preview, plus the midway is open for business, as are many of the concession/food stands.

Michael and I are in the food line, hungry after riding some of the midway rides.  The last one I rode was TopSpin; I LOVE that thing!  Michael won't ride it though: he says I'm totally crazy in the head to ride such a wild ride, but hey: me, I'm like, "the wilder the better!" AAIEE!!

Guess screaming like I did on TopSpin made me hungry: I'm so hungry, my throat thinks my stomach has been cut! LOL

Later we're gonna dance to some Cajun music at the Breaux Bridge tent.  They're offering free Cajun and zydeco dance lessons, but since we both already know how to dance Cajun style, we'll just dance for the fun of it and groove to that Cajun sound.  Then we'll probably eat some more until the grounds close at midnight and then we'll get to do it all over again tomorrow until I perform at 12:30 at the Hertiage Tent with my band, "Cajun HEAT!".

Then we'll probably dance some more afterwards. Or ride rides .... LOL

And eat and eat and EAT!!  LOL I'll be surprised if either one of us doesn't gain 30 pounds from all the food we plan on eating .... LOL

Some of the acts include Steve Riley, Geno Delafose, Jambalaya with D.L. Menard, Forest Huval, "The Cajun Troubadours" avec young Cameron Dupuy, young Hunter Couville and "Cajun Fever", Robert Jardell and "Pure Cajun", and Bonne Chance.  Many others will be performing, too; there'll be continuous Cajun and zydeco music.

Well, gotta go; see y'all later; it's our turn to get some food! YES!  I will write after the festival ends; see y'all later! Bye!
