I have a pet bunny rabbit. His name is Squiggly.
Squiggly was given to me by my uncle who raises rabbits for a living. He is very cute, all black with dark, dark eyes, and ears that are soft as velvet. He has very long white whiskers and a white cotton puff for a tail. He is very cute!
I got Squiggly as a birthday present. I take care of him: I feed him and give him clean water every day. I also clean up his poop and change his cage. I may be a little girl (9 years old), but I know how to take care of my pet and I do it because I love him very much.
Squiggly and I are the best of friends. We eat together, read together (rather, he watches ME read while he sits there and wiggles his nose or runs around, hopping madly around the bedroom), sleep together, and watch tv together. He loves to watch me when I am on my computer or doing my homework: he always has to know what I am doing and wHY.
One thing I like about Squiggly is when he wiggles his nose. Whenever he wiggles his nose, I know he is in a good mood. He doesn't do it when he's mad or upset about something: only when he's happy. Well, he must be a happy bunny 'cause he does it just about all the time!
I keep Squiggly inside because I'm afraid if he got loose some of the bigger neighborhood dogs might try to go after him and chew him up. I don't think I could stand it if anything bad were to happen to Squiggly! I love him so much; he's the best pet I have ever had in my life!
Well, it's time to give Mr. Squiggly some fresh water and rabbit food before we go to church tonight. I hope you enjoyed reading about my bunny! He is certainly very special in my life and I am so glad I have him to love and take care of!
