The question on the table is a direct one: Is the United States government  preparing for an insurrection and mass disobedience from the population?

Let's for a moment look at this idea and see what the evidence might be for this idea.

Here are a few points.

It is obvious world-wide that  unrest is growing and will grow.

a. Unemployment is rampant: In Europe in Spain it is near 50% for young people.

b. The recovery in the United States is slow and not likely to improve anytime soon. And now it looks like China is slowing down as well which means no world wide recovery is likely.

d. Climate change has devastated the American grain crops which means higher prices world-wide and food riots will surely increase.

e. Fuel prices in California have jumped from 3.89 a gallon to 4.19 a gallon in three weeks. There was refinery fire but that is not the only factor--the drought in the US affects ethanol prices as well and its price will go up as well.

f. It can be argued the Arab Spring was basically driven by high and increasing food prices and the prices of fuel.

c. The two Republican candidates are talking about drastically reducing Medicare for seniors in the future and drastically cutting medical care for the poor, in food stamps, in Pell grants for college people, in "budget reductions."

d. Climate change is here will only make things worse and it is now already happening.

e. It makes you realize that the billions spent on homeland security, internal drones and on local police departments can all be used against the domestic population.

f. If the eliltes stir up racial hatred it can be an excuse to use military force especially if the banks fail, and they likely will. If the elites know this then they know, as in 1929, there will be outrage. They are clearly preparing for it now.

g.The racialists see that demograhically minorities in the world will soon be in a majority in all of the western countries by 2050,and this is freaking the elites (mostly whites) out. They are preparing for the "hoards."

h. Add to all this the fact that the average American lost 40% of their wealth since 2008, has maxed out on phony credit card debt paying 29%, is an aging population to whom the banks don't want to loan money; this in a country which is so beholden to the banks that Congress itself in a puppet of those very same banks. Bad situation, no?

I could go on for pages but does this idea make any sense?

My question what are the elites around the world thinking?

What are their real responses behind closed doors? Are they helpless as they seem to be to solve the real problems of the world or do they have a plan?

In the next few weeks I will examine this question.

My short answer is, yes of course they know what is going on, and have made plans about how to deal with it.

The diabolical irony of this, critics say, is that they will step in and pretend to be the saviors of the unrest they themselves have caused.

They have used this tactic over and over again, time and time again in history; promise security in exchange for the elimination of civil rights, and demanding obedience to state imposed  marshall law--all legal under the so-called "Patriot Act."

The double irony is that both the right and the left  agree on all the above points, from the tea party to the liberals, to libertarians, they just don't see that they agree because yj\hey are blinded by the elites into fighting among themselves. The elites like riots,  unrest and division because they think that unrest frightens people who will beg them to send in the police and the national guard.

This is what happened in Egypt, in Tunisa, and now happening in Syria in various forms.

One group fearing the other, egged on by elties, will urge elites to put down the other tribal groups, blacks, vs. whites, women vs. men, rich vs poor, Republicans vs. Democrats,  all the while not doing anything about the one percent who are really in control, wasting time on being anti-government when it is clear that government is not really in control of any thing anyway.

It is wall street and the monied classes who are in control and increasingly it is clear that members of Congress itself represent and ARE members of the one percent. Many if not most are millionaires or at least wealtlhy and get wealthy from insider trading once there. The average member of Congress invested in the market gains 20 per year in income. Coincidence. The rest of us got negative investment results and the average was 5% for even wall street types.
