Success Story |

| Though I have no agent, most book publishers require you to have one. One day I read about Publish America and I read about them very carefully. They did not require an agent and I had to pay "zero" dollars to get my work published (which was my goal - not to pay). I mean, not to sound like an ass, but vanity, subsidary and self publishing could cost hundreds to thousands of dollars and that is not the way I wanted to go about it. I've studied freelance writing and if I've learned anything, it was that if a publisher likes your work - they will most likely give you an opportunity anad even pointers errors in your work to help you make it better and make more sence. Even though I am a Canadian Author, I wanted a book publisher to see my work and tell me whether they liked or disliked it. So, long story short, with Publish America I got lucky. On my very first manuscript submission I heard back from them a few weeks later and they lked my work and wanted to publish it. All I had to do was agree to the contract and I did. That was now seven months ago. Now, my second book will soon be finished andon the way to the publisher. That's my success story. |
