| I began my manuscript" The Voyage of Billy Buckins" last fall. My dream was to write a series of children's novels based on a twelve year old boy living in Charles Town in the Carolina's,the year 1754. I never dreamed my manuscript would be accepted, because dreams seldom come true. I wrote a second short illustrated children's book called " Tommy Hop the Bunny." Tommy Hop was a story I wrote for my two year old son while in the hospital having surgery. My success came about two months ago in June 2009. I submitted " The Voyage Of Billy Buckins" and " Tommy Hop the Bunny" to my publisher. It took some time and discussion's but the publisher agreed to publish both my manuscripts.
