  Stephanie S. Sawyer's Success Story

An inspirational article of mine, "A Call to Service", was featured in a private national publication for the order to which I belong, The Order of the Daughters of the King. I am happy to gain influence through The Royal Cross, a quarterly magazine for the Daughters. It is read as an inspirational and informational periodical. August '08, Volume 76, Issue 1

Both Newspapers in Tomball, TX, have elected to carry Stephanie Sawyer's newest essay "Why I Fell In Love with Tomball". Of course, with a title like that, how could they not!? Yet, even the mayor of the city has chosen to place the essay on our website in the next weeks ahead. Be watching!

"You don't have part of your brain, but you've got your head together!", blurted out one audience member from the assembly workshop at The Order of the Daughters of the King assembly led by Stephanie this March 8, 2008 in Richmond, TX at Calvary Episcopal Church. The order members hearing Stephanie's story as featured in IMPRINTS were moved to tears and impressioned by her stories. Stephanie is only hoping that work will catch fire on what God is doing by grace, and He is freeing through great compassion.

The Tomball, TX Community Library has asked Stephanie to give a presentation this Spring '08. Both of her books, IMPRINTS and Facing Me will be featured as she gives account of the victory in her life of overcoming hardships.

Stephanie Sawyer has accepted an invitation to lead a workshop this coming March 2008 at a Daughters of the King Assembly in Richmond, Texas. She has chosen to focus on 'Depending on God's Grace' as the theme, and her book IMPRINTS will be offered as evidence in which God has been highly evident in her life.

Tomball, TX, booksigning for IMPRINTS:Stories That Solicit a Response went very well. With a little experience, this first IMPRINTS signing brought in twice the sales as my first signing on my first book. It's really fun now as I know all the ropes. I love sharing with community members as they come in to chat. To me, it's about sharing the victories the Lord has brought me through and it's about sharing openly and freely.

IMPRINTS, Stories That Solicit a Response has just been published.(Publish America, Nov. '07) The second publication by Sawyer features turnaround events from frightening situations that became blessings and avenues for wisdom. People, attitudes, changes in lifestyle patterns are gained through courage taken.

Stephanie Sawyer has been featured in the May 2007 edition of The Homestead Magazine of Tomball/Magnolia in Texas. Noted as "A Note Above the Rest" Stephanie is noted for direct impact of inspirational work in her memoir Facing Me and in the ongoing work she carries through her musical talents on the piano to her students.

Stephanie S. Sawyer is newly published as a feature writer in One Touch from the Maker, a Christian collection of testimonies on victorious living.

The power of love is demonstrated in my publication of "Love is Stronger" in The Journals" , A Catholic ezine. One does not have to be Catholic to share a victory there. I am not. Victory over seizures in public through acceptance with love and not panic is the theme in this essay. I recommend it to all congregations and those who minister. May '06 - Stephanie Sawyer

Several inspirational essays of Stephanie S. Sawyer are just released in the Spring '06 edition of New Works Review. I am happy to have contributed to this upscale publication several times now. Amidst this issues' essays are one of mine that will make the Christian stop and think about their next testimony.

"Seeing God" has been published in The Journals, a Catholic oriented Christian ezine. Please see my news items. I am pleased that this was offered to me when the publisher happened upon my essay. This was rather pleasant as opposed to my need for a search for a suitable publication. - January, '06

I was thrilled to find out today, the same day I wrote "Seeing God", that it will be published in two places this spring '06! I picked up my pen this morning in faith and inspiration, and the Lord in making His work known. Bless His Name! New Works Review will be publishing the work in its April-June edition, and The Journals, a Catholic oriented Christian journal will be publishing the article. This was a surprise to me, and I see the Lord once again. - Stephanie S. Sawyer, December 31, 2005

Gigs are now a part of my regular business as I serve the donwtown Houston restaurant scene for the holidays. --Thinking back, I realize before my brain op, I could do NONE of this, and I remain in awe. Praise be to God for opening the doors to me, and sending me back to school to finish that music degree! Posted 12-22-05

The EFA's Women's Initiative Forum and Style Show that I played the piano for and sold copies of Facing Me was a stunning success. All copies of my book were sold and those at the table near me for lunch were advocating that I go on tour across the country. They commended me for my presentation voice. My piano performance, a 45 minute program of classical music, was well received, and I did well by my own standards which are high. " was certainly wonderful to listen to your magical music." quotes the founder and director of the Epilespy Foundation SE Texas, Donna Stahlhut. I enjoyed the grand Kawaii. Some came to meet me and many learned from my past experience with epilepsy and the surgery I went through. I hope to be a tool in this way more often! My phone number is listed on my den below if others are looking for support roles in this context.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Southeast Texas is featuring author and pianist Stephanie Sawyer as an example of overcoming the debilitating effects of epilepsy. Stephanie will be signing books, playing the piano, and showing samples of her hand-sewing at the Women's Epilepsy Forum. The event originally cast on September 24, 2005, but postponed due to Hurricane Rita, will be held on October 8,2005. Stephanie is excited over the prospect of playing her classical music as well as talking about her book Facing Me with interested parties. Of course, the sewing goes hand in hand with all detailed handwork which she loves.
