| I've always loved to read and dreamed of being an author most of my life. But the realities of life got in the way. Then, one day, with age creeping up, I decided if I was going to pursue my dream, I'd better get to it. I joined Romance Writers of America, went to conferences and workshops, and read the books I wanted to write. After ten long years of writing, learning, rejections, I sold my first book, a traditional romance, to Avalon Books. That book was A CATERED AFFAIR, available only in hardback. Used copies may still be available. It took another four years to sell a second book, LOGAN'S REDEMPTION, a romantic suspense, from The Wild Rose Press. I got the rights back for Logan in 2010 and am now selling it exclusively on Amazon Kindle. In December 2010, I have romantic suspense novella, MURDER, MI AMORE, scheduled for release from The Wild Rose Press. In additon, I have discovered a love of writing short stories. Since October 2009 to now, I've sold 8 short stories to national women's magazines. My books may not be on the NYT Bestsellers list, but I've achieved my dream. I'm a published author. |
