| After years of writing non-fiction in the area of parapsychology, I decided to try my hand at creative fiction writing. To help me get started I enrolled in a Master of Arts program at Manhattanville College. Now, several months later, I have had two stories and four poems published in such top-notch journals as Bellevue Literary Review, Fiction International, Karamu, and others. Spurred on by these early successes I have launched into a zany, riotous mystery novel that follows the misadventures of an amateur sleuth with enough attitude and style to light up a city. To anyone contemplating writing in a new genre, my advice is "go for it," work hard and enjoy the ride. |
