Success Story |

Hello, I’m Mike Coatesworth:
My fourth novel "Peter and Sarah, a single rose" is now in the bookstores world wide, and I'm hoping for a great success with it.
I was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire. A difficult childhood marked my determination to become a writer.
In 1969, I joined the Army with the Duke of Wellington's Regiment, where I served for thirteen years, travelling around the world.
Later, a serious car accident left me partially paralysed, in a wheelchair, having to re-learn everything, challenging me to make something out of my life.
After my accident, I studied Information Technology at Thomas Danby College - a college for students with learning disabilities - from which I graduated with 17 diplomas.
I now live in the picturesque Newtownabbey area of Northern Ireland, and I love animals, and usually you'll find me sitting out in my garden, watching the wildlife roaming across the countryside in front of my home.
Until my retirement I was columnist for a local newspaper, and I have written seven novels, four of which are published, and I've also written nearly eight hundred short stories.
Time for a cuppa!
Mike
