Is writing in the genes? That was one question that prompted my own ventures in that direction after I learned at age 49 that my birth mother, whom I never knew, had crafted two historical screenplays (one on the life
of Mohammad, the other on Cortez' conquest of Mexico as well as a historical novel regarding the destruction of Cleopatra's and Antony's fleet at Actium.
I was astonished how easy I found writing poetry and stories. The novel writing comes much harder, and I've written two novels - Reflections from Shadow published, and a previous unpublished work named Runaway. Cheers Malcolm
