| After having a very successful career I was suddenly struck with a disabilty, which completely altered my world, as I knew it. There were times, where I thought my life could not get any worse, as I no longer had hope in anything, which some of these circumstances I brought on myself. But through the grace of God, the Lord set me on a course of healing, restoration and peace. The Lord gave me the opportunity to marry again and become best friends with my wife and with whom I have a beautiful daughter. This alone was the best blessing in my life. But the Lord wasn't finished with me. I had been writing for over a decade and the Lord opened the doors for me to get my first poetry book, "Crossroads of Seasons", published and then, a short, fictional inspirational novel, "A Regal Heart" also published, which I also owe much gratitude to PublishAmerica. I began writing mainly to make some positive sense out of some unfortunate times in my life, I had never dreamed that my work would ever be published. Now, even though I'm still disabled the Lord has given me back a career that I can be proud of, in the form of my writing. Now, I can truly say, Thank you Lord for never leaving me and Thank you for the family and friends, who You have placed in my life to help me along my life's journey's. I'm a walking testiment of the grace of God, so I know, where there seems no hope, hope may be standing right before you. If the Lord can make something beautiful out of my life, He can and will do the same for anyone who asks. |
