  Ronald W. Hull's Success Story
The Educational Testing Service has requested permission to reprint my poem, Mesa Verde, in one of their workbooks. This means that up to 400,000 poor kids will have to slog through my bad grammar, spelling, and punctuation--and then be tested on it!

Update! ETS has decided to use my poem "in perpetuity" for a handsome sum. While I am pleased to have achieved some sense of immortality, I'm sure generations of youngsters will curse "that poet and his dumb poem" that they would have to dissect for the test.

My poem, Alienation, has been viewed in AD 20,000 times and is being used in some schools in comparison with other work like Catcher in the Rye. My poems, Relaxing and The Roaring 20s dare viewed daily on my website.

My poem, Autumn Light, has been chosen to help convey the thought in a collection of artists' photos, Waterviews, was published by The Vineyard Press by Fran Zak of zakstudios.net in early 2010.

I got a call last week from an excited mother of a third grader in San Diego. The mother asked me if her daughter could read my poem to her class on Friday, April 5, 2013. The daughter is studying rhythmic gymnastics and hopes to enter the Olympics for the United States. She was looking for a poem about her dream and found my poem, Go for the Gold. I haven't heard how it turned out, but I was so glad to give my permission.

There is no greater success than having a third grader admire a poem I wrote for adults, and want to read it in class.
