Night of Desire
Chapter 1
Ryan Dawn stirred in a restless sleep.
Fire burned around her, yet it didn’t burn her skin it only made the heat inside her worse. Sweat rolled down her body. Setting up she found herself in a bed, the sheets felt like silk. Standing she found a wooden floor around her, the fire had disappeared but the feeling lingered in her body. Walking pass a small mirror she stopped.
Stunned light brown eyes looked back at her.
She was standing in a strange room naked. Staggering back she tried to form any reasonable thought.
Nothing but the heat pulsed inside her thought her very soul. A sense of being watched swept over her.
Yet the feeling didn’t cause fear, it was a welcoming feeling.
“You have come.” The voice held darkness in the deep tone, shadows danced on the wall as she turned to the voice.
In a split second hard firm muscled had her in an unbreakable embrace. Clear blue eyes sparkled like ice on a frozen pond. A silk shirt slid against her skin, rough pants brushed her thy.
Though the hug was firm it was gentle at the same time.
She was aware of the throb of his cock just beneath his pants. She could almost feel each pulse on her stomach.
“I had given up hope.” His breath slid down her neck as it sent a wave of heat more intense than the fire she’d been in.
Don’t wake up.
The words sang out in her head.
Ryan tried to speak only to let out a moan as he traced his hands down her slender back and around to her waist.
Holding her at arms length Andrew Mason wondered over her body memorizing every curve. He fought the fire within himself a fire that would turn into a wildfire if he didn’t keep in control.
He had to.
He had her.
Fear crept up his spine at the thought of losing just an ounce of control, what he could really do scared the hell out of him.
Hell.
He tried not to laugh. People think I come from that place. His mind repeated in his head a hundred times over. He was beginning to believe them.
Could they be right?
Wanting nothing more than to incinerate the voice in his head he pushed his thoughts to the woman before him.
“Find me, Ryan.”
Hold on. How did he know my name? The question shot though her mind.
“Who are you?”
“Find me, Ryan.” His voice pulsed in her head as a buzzing sound rang out in her ear. Her eyes flew open. Cursing her alarm clock she sat up in bed. The sheets stuck to her sweat drenched body. Throwing back the covers she let out a gasp.
