Though he doesn't read Shakespeare, it's been said that T. J. Daniels' poetry has a Shakespearian innocence, a gentle tone.
His collection of poetry continues to grow, and blossom. Each word opening up like a petal, revealing new delights. Each thorn of pain and sorrow, expressed so beautifully truthful. He brings to light the vulnerability that is accompanied with love. Love is not the only subject that he writes about, but one that everyone can relate to.
This Paperback book contains 86 poems. Below are a couple poems from the Book. It's nothing fancy, just poetry. The Book can be purchased online here and also can be DLed in Ebook format:

Lulu Poetry by TJ Daniels
"WHEN HEARTS WERE YOUNG"
Dream a little dream
when two hearts
started beating as one.
A love seat
filled to over flowing.
Dreams of future years
two lives lived as one.
Many sunsets
watched from two rockers
side by side.
Hands reaching
back in time
when hearts were young.

"LOST IN TIME"
I live here
but I'm alive there.
I was alive
in her arms
but they haven't touched me
in years.
And the years
have gotten colder
and my heart has gotten older.
Grown older
gotten colder
as time goes by.
Now the only way I can feel
is to reach back through the years.
But it becomes
harder and harder
to reach
as time goes by.
Now I can't even reach
my arms out
any more.
They've lost their will
to survive
lost in time.
