Cinderella's Secret takes a look at some of the valuable life lessons that are contained in a simple childhood fairytale in hopes of helping adults rekindle their passion for finding happily-ever-after.

Cinderella's Secret: How you can find your happily-ever-after

There comes a time in every child's life when they are expected to grow up and put away their childish fantasies and beliefs.  By the time children enter formal school, they are discouraged from using their imagination or believing in magic and miracles.  In teaching children that imagination and fantasy are childish activities that we must outgrow, we have created people who find it difficult to have the kind of faith that moves mountains and allows one to walk on water.  We find it difficult to understand that our realities are created within our own imagination and attitudes.

In our story, Cinderella left behind a glass slipper. If you will recall, the Duke went around the entire kingdom having women try on this one slipper in hopes of finding the girl who left the ball in such a hurry that the prince did not catch her name. Now in reality, thereís no reason why many, many women would not have been able to wear that slipper. After all, there are only a certain number of sizes it could have been, right? Perhaps it was a size 6. Iím sure there are tons of women who could have fit into a size 6. Iím not one of them, but maybe you are. But our story isnít really talking about a size, is it? There was something unique about the slipper in that it represented something that only one person would be able to fit into. I believe the shoe represents responsibility.
