"Executive Order 211 Afghanistan"

"I want to hear about the documents you found in Somalia and then those that were discovered in the Taliban caves in Afghanistan. Daniel, why don’t you start?” the president gently ordered.

Daniel described the Al-Qaeda camp in Somalia and the terrorists they were after. He focused on the building he raided and those that were inside and twenty minutes later, finished after an eloquent dissertation describing what documents they had captured.

Merlin was next and filled in what little Daniel had omitted. Everything tied together and after an hour they had exhausted the Somali mission description.

Raul was next to speak and he reviewed the mission in Afghanistan beginning when they entered the Taliban cave complex. After speaking for fifteen minutes Raul turned the conversation back over to Daniel who described the contents of the videotape he ejected out of the player. When he had concluded his detailed description, President Workman looked at the various agency heads that were present.

An angry look appeared on his face.“Now, my question to you gentlemen is, did your agencies get this information and if so, what was done with it?”

They all affirmed that they got the material. Then, not one could give an adequate explanation what was done with it.

“Everyone one of you must agree that information of this caliber and magnitude, should be considered and given the highest priority, am I correct in this assumption, gentlemen?” Workman asked in a rising tone of voice.

Again they all agreed.

“Then what the hell happened with this material? This is total bullshit. You men are in charge of our country’s welfare and security. What would have happened if the people of Falcon had found out that the Al-Qaeda was planning to bomb one of our cities? I have news for you guys. They did find information pertaining to attacks against our soil, here in the UNITED STATES.

Now, because no one acted on this material, we have people dead and injured on the USS Cole. This is not just a military mistake but a joint intelligence and Pentagon screw up. You are all responsible. Now I understand why the citizens of our country become disenchanted with their government.

Hear me and hear me good. Get the material and data that these fine people risked their lives to get and prepare a plan on how we are going to counter attack it. You have one week. That’s all I have for you. The steward will take you to the dining room. You may leave the room now.”

After the chastising, the embarrassed agency heads all rose to leave along with General Tackett.

“Gary, you stay here please,” the president said.

After the departure of the CIA, FBI and Secret Service heads, the President Workman continued speaking. “That wasn’t directed at you Gary. Your people did their jobs. The information should have been passed to all military branches. The biggest problem we have in Washington are these peoples egos. No one wants to share the information they’ve received with other agencies. They’re scared someone will show them up when they should be focused on taking care of our country.

We’ve been here for about two hours. Lets take a break. I bet Merlin has to go to the bathroom.” They all laughed, remembering the last meeting with the president.

“You got that right Mr. President,” Merlin answered still laughing.

After they all took a fifteen-minute break, President Workman reconvened the meeting.

“Amad Khan, as you can see we do have our problems here in the United States. What do you feel that the Taliban and especially Al-Qaeda are up to?”

“Mr. President, there are many heads of these serpents, meaning they have many agendas. I would have to say the main focus of the Al-Qaeda and Usamah bin Laden is to inflict as much damage to the Americans as possible, using whatever means necessary.

They know that they cannot continue to succeed against our people in Afghanistan. My country is just a haven for them for the time being. Soon, our people will unite and severe the heads of these serpents.

Until that time, these terrorists will continue to plan attacks against whomever they can and this country is on the top of the list. I do know that they will stop at nothing to kill. You have to understand that those that they recruit have no value of life because they do not have a life themselves and are looking for someone to lead them to prosperity.

Usamah says these actions are being done in the name of Islam but it really is being done in the name of greed and power. They really are truly convinced that they can rule the world. It is such a fantasy world they are living in.

But, don’t be fooled into a false sense that they’re idiots. They are very devious and have no conscience. Death is an everyday part of their business. As you have seen, they will kill their own countrymen for no other reason than to keep the fear factor in the minds of our people.

The United States will eventually be attacked unless these people are eliminated. When I say people, I don’t just mean bin Laden and Mullah Omar. Every member of their army and leaders must be destroyed soon. If they are not, then the United States will suffer a bigger tragedy than the USS Cole.

If this happens, the Arab countries that you think are supportive of the United States will soon show their greedy faces. I am talking about countries like Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Yemen. You must be very cautious of these countries because down deep they are scared of bin Laden attacking and bombing their respective country. You saw what happened when they blew up the Al Khobar Towers. The U.S. was almost removed from the investigation and the terrorists had time to escape or hide deeper within the Saudi borders. You must be very, very careful Mr. President. They didn’t go after nuclear bombs to learn how to build nuclear power plants.

Can you imagine if they had detonated a nuclear blast in your country? Do you know what that would have done for their recruiting? They would have every poor Arab begging to join Al-Qaeda’s cause and movement. Usamah bin Laden would be praising himself that he brought the United States to its knees.

Any attack, and I mean any attack against your country, whether successful or not, shows the Middle East countries that the America, the leader of the world, is vulnerable. Usamah bin Laden is striving for this.

There is another item you should be aware of. Usamah has some of his followers in your country now. They are not here to visit your beautiful country and to enjoy amusement parks. They are here learning about this countries weaknesses and planning where to make an attack that will do the most damage to people and property. They are here now, Mr. President.”

“Mr. Khan, they are that dangerous and I agree with you. I have heard that this might be true. They were here when they tried to destroy the World Trade Center. I’m sure our agencies are looking into this and I will bring it up again next week when they deliver their proposal.”

“There is one more thing you should be aware of, Mr. President. Saddam Hussein is helping these people also.” Amad related the story of the guards going to the Taliban caves to protect bin Laden and Mullah Omar.

President Workman thought for a moment. “Hussein will do anything to get his hands on nuclear bombs. Thank you for letting me know this.”

Looking at General Tackett, President Workman asked, “Gary, were you informed about this?”
