A collection of poetry expressing the sorrows and sadness of experiences I have encountered over my youth, my 20's and early 30's.

My poetry has been my diary, my own hidden

punching bag, my revenge, my fear as well as my

pain. I haven’t had much luck at being able to

express the happy and lighthearted. I have sat in

the midst of all things good, with not one word to

write. This, a small portion of poetry I have written

over the years, is very serious, vengeful, sorrowfilled

words with touches of hope. My life, my

defining moments, heartbreak and misery are now

out in the open for all to see. Between these lines I

hope you find something that touches you, guides

you and reminds you that we all walk in the same

direction.

Excerpt

Armor
Carry on wayward soldiers
In your long and wasted pleas
Breaking surface in the water
Under dark and stormy seas
Wear your armor once again love
Cover scars and pain at will
Block the vision of your wanting
With your refined and perfect skill
Mask your damage with your silence
Hide your fears beneath your smile
Pride yourself upon your choices
As your memories walk the mile
March to the sound of your own locks
Deep and wounded from no touch
Pleased from depths you cannot remember
Because the pain is just too much
Walk blindly into your man-made storm
Only time will tell
Are you walking away from heaven?
From choosing your own hell?
