Gripping suspense based on a true unsolved crime. Set in a town filled with people who exhibit the characteristic of guilt. Murder shakes the foundation of the innocent community and stalks the dark nights.

Death in the heartland plunges Georgy into the depth of three murders. Returning to a small town to care for her aunt's house until it sells proves dangerous. The house becomes ominous with mysterious events forcing Georgy to take matters into her own hands. Seeking help she is refused by local authorties with the events simply explained away.

Suspicious of all she encounters shows each could be the killer lurking on the streets of a pristine community. Georgy is alone to clear her name and is unable to convince the local police of an ex-can guilt.

Trapped and stalked she uses her wits and intelligence to survive life threatening events. 'Tulips on Walnut' nearly destroys her but instead proves her determination through her own efforts.
He stood and walked to the window and looked out then turnd to face her leaning on the sink. "I got a court order to enter his house. Wanted to see if anything was wrong. Good thing I did," he paused as if making a decision whether to go on or not.

"There was a strong odor as we opened the front door. An unmistakable one if a person has ever been unlucky enough to have smelled it before. The stench of a body."

She caught her breath, "You found his body? Was it a heart attack?"

"No foul play for sure."

"You mean he was murdered?" she twisted in the chair then looked directly into his eyes.

Could not put it down until I finished. Interesting trying to figure the factual parts from the fiction. Good read.
