In a willingness to be obedient, I found myself seeking love in Him and all of His creation. God said that He has placed knowledge in the heart of every man to know that there is God. Upon this thought, I decided to keep a diary with the Lord. It was in the stillness of the many nights, and the experiences of many days that I sought Him out. His Presence overcame me in the silence of the night with His great love and seeking to be loved. It was in the days and nights that the Lord encouraged me to take up pen and write. I shall continue to record and give voice to my Lord. Truly my God is evident in all of His creation. He is worthy to be praised... Excerpt WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT It is my desire to leave you the reader with these words of encouragement: that my God is alive and well! I wish I could express the love I have felt in the writing of this book of PAEANS for the Lord. Surely His voice calls out to each of us in a very special way. He calls out in many ways. Are we open to hear His call? He calls His people to be holy in His sight. Who are His people? All that will call upon the name of the Lord. There is evidence of His existence in all that He has created with just His mighty hand alone. I saw Him in the oak tree so pure and white. He traveled the night skies just to be with me. In the changing of seasons that I held so tightly dear to my heart, I felt Him so. His Presence, He made known to me in the over-shadowing grey clouds that hovered over my life. The Lord, God Almighty who I serve is a wondrous God. He searches the hearts of man looking for a willing vessel who is open to hear His call. He says, "Come and reason with Me. Let us spend time together in a relationship that is full of love." Remember it is in everything that God has created that gives purpose to your life. Take time to see and feel the goodness of the Lord. Listen and be open to His calling on your life. The time is short and the days are numbered according to His Will. The Lord says: "In a day filled with sunshine I surely did appear... I called you out and wanted you to hear... My voice it was that echoed forth this day... Calling you to spend time with Me and pray... I have called thee out in a world so filled with fear... Valerie, when I read the words from your book, God's prescence is there. What a gift God has given you. I came across these two Bible verses and I thought of you. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. Psalm 32:8 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.
