Reader Reviews for "Mississippi Cotton"

Reviewed by Katie Norris 3/26/2012
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Mississipppi Cotton, by Paul H. Yarbrough. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for the next good read in Southern Literature. It is one that adults as well as kids will appreciate. Mississippi Cotton is mystifying and is written in a style that is distinctly Southern but one that readers anywhere can enjoy. While this novel is brimming with mystery and adventure, Mississippi Cotton also successfully captures that coveted "Southern charm". The author brings a heartwarming perspective to the old-vs.-new life in the South. The novel is heavy on nostalgia and the setting is where Yarbrough's roots are: Mississippi. I am confident that Mississippi Cotton will excite all who read it, as it is extremely hard to put down!
