Little brother Tim likes to play pranks on his big sister Cynthia.Too much! Timmy soon finds out how bad it is to tease and be the brunt of being teased. In this funny and different approach to this subject, The Monster In The Mailbox is the perfect book to help learn the lesson of the hurt teasing can casue.
Timmy couldn't resist, he kept jumping up and down on his sister's bed.
"Get…off…of…me! I'm…going…to…tell…Mom. Timmy…get…off!
Mom…Timmy…won't…quit…jumping…on…my…bed." Cynthia yelled, as she was bounced around, trying to escape the blankets.
Timmy was having too much fun. All he could do was laugh and giggle while he jumped all over his sister.
Mother shouted up the stairs, "Timothy Matthew, you stop jumping on your sister’s bed this instant!"
Timmy climbed down and stood next to the bed watching Cynthia fight her way out of the pile of blankets. She finally made her way out from the covers and sat up with a look that said, “I’M GONNA GET YOU”, on her face.
Timmy dashed to the door, turned around, stuck out his tongue at Cynthia, and ran downstairs.
" Mom, Cynthia is awake now," Timmy said with an impish grin.
The Midwest Book Review
What can you do to pay back a pesky little brother for all his teasing and pranks? How about telling him there's a monster in the mailbox? That's exactly what Cynthia does, and poor Timmy won't ever look at the mailbox in the same way again.
The Monster In The Mailbox is an imaginative tale about sibling rivalry and fun. Its full color illustrations are bright and detailed. The age range is listed as 7-12 years, but I would suspect that even kids a year or two younger would enjoy this tale.

Reading this book brought back memories of growing up with my brother and sister.
Better yet,it's across the generations as my own children
delighted in the same antics. Great Illustrations, catch those funny faces!"

The Monster in the Mailbox is an absolutely charming and
beautiful and creative book that every child and adult should have.
T.E. Watson manages to find a way to feed the need for imagination
we all have. The Monster in the Mailbox satisfies that need in children...
and grown-ups too.
Just thinking of this book will make you grin BIG.
T.E. Watson must have been hiding in my house when I was growing up!
His characters are REAL (They are me!) and this story is sure to become
a classic for children and former children.
