Labyrinth in the Snow
Monkey Arthouse

Two human babies from the village of Cluney are abducted by the female Wizard Mirabel. Whilst the shocked village community struggles to react and to find a plausable motive for this act, Eric and Lucas, the two brothers of one of the abducted babies, set our on a rescue mission. They enlist the help of the mysterious native girl Lilla to guide them through the labyrinth in the snow. The journey is nothing like what they could have anticipated.

Labyrinth in the Snow is much more that a gripping yarn in the fantasy genre. It is also an investigation on the  nature of reality as perceived by the world of science and eastern philosophy. It is an exploration of the nature of life and death, love and friendship and an examination of human History and its impact on the planet.

The story is driven by a suspenseful set of events and is acted out by an array of interesting and colourful charcters.

Professional Reviews

John Morrow's Pick of the Week
"Move aside fantasy writers and make way for a new author. Lindsay Rochecouste really impressed me with his writing and I enjoyed his story immensely. This is a great adventure, told with clarity and wonderful story-telling abilities. If you're into fantasy, you will most certainly need to find a space in your library for this story. This is a story that will really grip you - a village of ordinary, law-abiding and good folk take on the mystery of magic and power to save their two children."

Wendy O'Hanlon, Acres Australia
"The author tells many stories within this story, has created numerous amazing characters and explores many Eastern and Western philosophies. It's a good thing this manuscript is out of the 'bottom drawer' and can provide magic and wonder to many."
