Have you ever been in line at the grocery store and ended up in line behind one of those people who have about 100 coupons? Well, that would be me! Or at least someone like me! Shopping sales and using coupons is one of my BIGGEST money saving techniques. Part of this is obvious. You clip coupons from various sources and then redeem them at the store when purchasing those products. But, what if I told you that you could save $100 or more per month? Would you believe me? Would you spend the time clipping coupons? I have had someone tell me that I am “nickel and diming” myself by couponing. I have also heard that couponing actually COSTS money. What??? Obviously the people who say these things have not spent time talking to me about how I shop! Since I began my serious couponing habits, I have routinely saved my family of four approximately $500 per month on groceries (this includes all household items such as cleaning supplies, paper products, personal care products, etc). There is a methodology to saving like this. It cannot be random. Yes, I spend a reasonable amount of time working with my coupons. But, if you think of it in terms of dollars per hour, would you like to get paid $50 for an hour’s worth of shopping? I consider this my part-time job! So, how is this possible? Well, just keep reading and you’ll find out!
