In 1938 a secret and illegal nightclub opened for the Hollywood elite. It was a place where actors relaxed without fear of publicity; a place where studio bosses negotiated million dollar deals and careers were made or broken. It was also a place were secrets were traded as currency - tools used to control the lives ov spoiled movie stars and zealous studio personnel.
The guardian of these secrets is the bar manager, Thomas Moseley. When the club manager is brutally murdered, Moseley has to run the nightclub and protect the clientele from the killer. Was it a gangster trying to muscle in on the club's action or was it a Nazi spy blackmailing movie stars to perform acts of espionage.
Historically accurate in every detail.

The Bentley stood out like a bruised thumbnail in the light afternoon traffic. The driver must have hung the tail on me as I left my apartment, but I hadn't detected him until I was a couple of blocks from work. He was either very good, or I'd let my guard down. Either way, it was nearly a fiasco.
