Cindy finds herself needing to be rescued once again. How will she save her hyde now?

Cindy Lou Ruffino

Facing another challenge Cindy finds herself being accused of her husband’s death. Ready to just give up she is surprised when Kinky Friedman shows up to pull her butt out of the fire once again. Once the two Deputies from Kerr County join in, the case takes a few crazy turns including a few rogue FBI agents and Home Land Security. Things are not as they seem as one twist after another takes the group from Houston to Mexico and back to the Hill Country. How will Cindy and her Hill Country friends get out of the mess they have found themselves in?

“Kinky look over there at nine o clock see that guy smoking. I bet that is my dead husband.”
“Are you sure Hon?”
“Kinky I lived with him for twenty seven years. I know his habits and mannerisms. Now watch when he puts out the cigarette. He will reach in his pocket and pull out a bag of M&M’s.”
“Cindy you have to be kidding me.”
“No watch you’ll see.”
”What are the two of you whispering about” Ben demanded as he leaned in to see what our conversation was about.
When Kinky filled him in he looked at me then waited along with Kinky and I to see if he indeed pulled out a bag of candy.
“Hold on what kind of M&M’s peanut, regular or the peanut butter ones?” Ben questioned with a grin on his face.
“The plain M&M’s that are in the brown bag. He may be thrifty and have bought a big bag and just have them in a baggie. I will bet you just about anything he will have a hand full of M&M’s in his mouth within minutes.”
Frank, Ray and Schreiber had heard our little bet and asked what was going on. Ben filled them in and the whole group of us stood there watching the man waiting with baited breath for him to pull out a bag of candy.
“You know Frank if that is him what does that make me? I mean if he is supposed to be in the witness protection program does that mean he is still dead? Or am I still married?”
