Home Is Where The Smart Is
A solutions based series for today's American Homeowner and Home Buyers.
A practical and viable plan which is easy to implement, manage and execute during the quest and mission of one's personal assets and legacy wealth. We have collected data and information from every nook and crannie of the complex and often over-bourdened world of the American Mortgage Banking System. We attempt to essentially "level the playing field" to allow average everyday Americans, regardless of socioeconomic class, income, education and race or creed, color or orientations, religions and or beliefs; to gain access, educate themselves on the acceptable processes and procedures and take advantage of policy and legislation written to protect and preserve the inalienable rights of ALL American Citizens across this Glorious Land that God has blessed US ALL with.
Approximately 10 Million American Families are facing the real possibility of foreclosure. As of the most recent US Census Bureau "Historical Census of Housing Tables & Renter" Report of 2000, there are 69,816,513 Owner Occupied Homeowners in the U.S. That 10 Million number equates to 14.3% or 1 in every 8 Homeowners in AMERICA is at present facing the reality of losing their homes!
This is a staggering and very scary number as well as phenomenon that has far reaching repercussions throughout Macro and Micro Economic climates here in the US and abroad. That number incidentally does not include "non-owner occupied" properties, otherwise known as rental or investment properties which as of 2000 the total was 35 Million units. If even 10% of these non-owner occupied homes are faced with foreclosures; that works out to 3.5 Million Renters having to relocate or pray for a "fly-in" investor to prevent from being evicted from what these families consider their homes.
If these facts don't scare you or you choose to believe what the "status quo" has spun into the truth for you to believe; then I am afraid America is in for yet another scary reckoning of reality. Now I won't apologize for this necessary piece of information sharing, it is actual and factual, just ask your friends, family, co-workers, vendors all around your immediate sphere.
Although we as American's want to believe that our Government will care of us and do the right thing, that concept as romantic and comforting as it may seem is just not logistically possible. Why? In a few words, special interests, political manuevering and strategies, status quo and bandwidth. Our Government, despite it's girth and power simply does not have the resources to mediate these issues for us. It's time for Americans to reclaim their lives and deploy some good old fashioned "self help".
