Excerpt
Bea had been studying the entire year to become a professional bingo caller. She stayed up nights calling out endless bingo numbers and doing all that goes along with being a professional bingo caller. Bea wished the other sisters would take into consideration the sacrifices that she had made for them. It would only be fair if they went where she wanted to go on this vacation. Bea believed the other sisters were being selfish. Bea also thought the house was fine the way it was. She had no problem wearing the same dirty harness day after day. She had bigger things on her mind than doing the laundry. Let Cissy and Ingah take care of those things. After all, Bea was a significant member of the community. She was proficient in Polish, she was familiar with the dewy decimal system and could name all of the states and their capitols even while blindfolded.

Three Pugs and a Trout
By Lela Labree Stute
5 out of 5 stars
An aptly named hilarious book with misadventures of three pugs. The highlight is the strange and endearing “Suddenly Jello Machine.”

This review is from: Three Pugs and One Vacation (Paperback)
This book is so much like real life. It's as if the dogs are really human. Isn't that how it is with a family? Family members all have a different place they want to go on vacation or everyone wants to eat at a different restaurant. It's a great book for children to teach them how you have to work together as a family and also that things aren't handed to us, we need to work for what we want. A very good lesson for children in this book. Wonderful pictures and great story.

A very funny book, not really a children''s book but a very funny book about three pugs. They are sisters and
get into many different situations. The pugs are so funny, so life like, maybe they really are people?
Read the series you will laugh forever!
