As I walked through town, I still thought about that smell at the
bar the night before.
“Could there actually be another one of my kind here?” I asked
myself, while watching people scurry in and out of the line of Bars
on Main St.
I had caught scents that resembled my own before, but they
usually turned out to be other things. In today’s times, it was
harder to be sure what anything was simply by the way it smells.
Pollution and people wearing all types of perfume scented
products made it easy to confuse the senses.
I began to walk down the sidewalk waiting for my “unlucky
meal” to walk by. Hunting has became easier the last twenty years
or so. Hell, people will leave a bar with just about anyone.
Hookers don’t take their pimps along for protection like they did
a hundred years ago. Dope heads will give themselves to you for
just a few dollars worth of drugs. From a Vampire’s point of view,
the twentieth century is an all you can eat buffet.
Thanks to the Goth look, I am able to walk the streets
