Beautifull young blondes are dying in Weston City, New Jersey. Lieutenant Dave Marshall and his team are working 24/7 to cacth the serial killer. He runs into RN Jennifer Hanson at the hospital when he is visisting one of  his injured detectives and asks her out. She lost her fiance, a cop, when he was shot in the line of duty. She was devastated. When she finds out Dave is a cop she refuses to see him anymore. Before she leaves him, he crabs her by the hand and shoves his business card into it.
