Jolly the elf is a wonderful children's book that describes a tradition and story that I created for my first child in 1963.It started the elf craze that is so well known all around the world.
Let me tell you a little about this wonderful holiday story and tradition.
Santa is so worried , he knows he doesn't have time to make all the trains,
dolls, wagons,skates and teddy bears for all the children this year. He
has talked to Mrs. Clause about his problem , she feels Santa is
working too hard. They talked and talked about how to handle the
problem but could not come up with a good idea, so, they decided to share
their concerns with the elves in the workshop.
The workshop was so busy, Santa had a hard time getting all the elves
attention. Well, not all the elves, Jolly the elf always listened to Santa, he
loved Santa so very much.
Jolly, indeed had a wonderful idea. Most of the elves thought Jolly's idea
and they laughed at Jolly.
