A paranoid-schizophrenic suffers from delusions and dissociative identity disorder. This diagnosis is new to him having no mental health history in his family prior to his recent affliction. Bennett Andrews is a known transient that dwells in Reno Nevada and lives off of the tourists he pan handles from. He finds himself missing a chunk of his memories and awakens in a mental institution in Washington DC having no idea how he got there. After suffering from an alternate identity his psychiatrist, Doctor Victoria Tabbott accidentally discovers is the name of a detective from LA that died in a car accident with his family in Reno near where Bennett lived she becomes curious and investigates it further. Uniting with Special Agent Anthony Hauck, the three of them along with Bennett’s alternate personality unravel a dark government conspiracy and secrets to Bennett’s diagnosis that baffle the most intelligent scientists and doctors. They uncover a plot that puts them all in danger of being assassinated by the government they believe in. The actions and paths taken unlock a mysterious paranormal phenomenon that calls itself Wrath.
“Oh my God,’ Bennett gasped. He closed the door behind him as he heard several men descending the ladder down the corridor. “I’m here to help you. Do you understand? Help will come if you listen to me. I am going to lead them away. One of you, take this and push the send button after they have gone. It will automatically dial a man named Anthony Hauck.” Bennett handed the phone to a woman near him that understood. She tucked the phone down her ragged pants to hide it before Bennett turned to leave them.
“Call them and they will come,” Bennett instructed before he started to open the door to charge at the approaching men. He was suddenly distracted by a familiar face on a young girl approaching him. She looked confused.
“Bennett?” she called out curiously but with a hint of hope.
“Don’t say a word sweetheart. Help will come. Stay here and no matter what you hear, know that hope will follow soon.” Bennett placed a gentle hand against the young girl’s face before he turned again to fulfill his destiny. He opened the door and charged out closing the door behind him so the bullets fired at him would not strike anyone inside. He knew that his bravery was his own but also Darren’s after having seen Felicia alive. Death would not be so bad with the knowledge his sacrifice had given hope to the people inside the holding tank. The armed men were still gathering at the bottom of the ladder when several that had already reached the bottom opened fire on the charging man. Bennett felt several rounds enter his chest as he ran towards them as fast as his legs would carry him. The pain was only momentary as one struck him in the head and everything went black.
