Denny Dallas grips you with this action adventure Novel. The intence ending will leave you wanting more.
This is an intertwining story that spans a number of years beginning with Brad who stumbles his way through puberty realizing he can see in others what no one else can.
As the years pass by he learns how fulfill his dreams and finds love but most of all he learns how to show others what only he could see.
With the help of some friends they eventually come together to try and wage an all out war on the beast that lies within others. The characters in this fiction novel find action, romance and danger along the way. Brad may emerge as a true hero if the battle can be won or be deemed insane by those who have the inner presence within them.
They met at a dusty old cafe 90 miles outside of Vegas, in a run down town called Indian Springs. It was still there only because of the military base nearby and the stragglers from the city. He was on his way out of sin city, after loosing his ass. She was on her way in searching for her slice of fame and fortune.
She stopped outside the rustic joint looking at the old paper racks trying to decide which of the few papers displayed would tout the best want ad section. She wanted to be a legit show dancer, not a stripper. She definitely had the looks and the talent. Her body was hot but the bust line was border line.
He had come to Vegas to meet a new business partner and to drum up some major dollars to feed his lifestyle. The meeting fell through as did his wallet after two nights of non-stop drinking and gambling. He left town three days and two nights early according to his fancy hotel reservations and to top it off he forgot to check out and turn in his keys. This was another $40 down the drain. That was quickly forgotten when he saw the beautiful young woman bend over to remove the newspaper from the rack.
Her long, blonde hair blowing in the soft breeze caught his attention first. Next his eyes went straight to her butt. It was packaged tight in her worn and faded blue jeans.
His first thought can’t be repeated but his second thought was, “She must have a face like a donkey.”
Inner Presence was fun to read and it kept me guessing as I read along. I can say that I had a great experience reading this book and felt that the writer did a great job in putting the story together. I give him an extra bonus for bringing all the characters to life. I highly recommend this book!
