Deception and the power of love
Riddled with guilt, Greyson has only one option to save his clan from his despicable relatives and that is to trick his cousins betrothed into marriage. He swears an oath that he would keep his hands of her and set her free when the fight is over. What he never plans on was to share his bed with her each night and fight the hunger to have her in his arms.
When learning she’d been deceived Freel must decide if she is willing to help protect the devious man’s clan from destruction. Lying does not come easy to her however, knowing that she could not live herself if anyone was hurt, she reluctantly agrees. She also informs him most firmly that he will not enjoy his husbandly rights. It doesn’t take her long though to realize that she would also have to protect her heart.
