Faith, hope, love bible study
This is a book which describes the journey I took from pregnancy to having children. I much read for all those considering having children and for those who are pregnant.
This is a wonderful and fun story of the journey my husband and I experienced as first time parents. This book talks about pregnancy, child birth and what life was after the baby arrived.
I envision my pregnancy as being easy. This is one of the greatest moments in my life - our lives.
In nine months I will be a MOM! Yes a mom like my mom; a loving mom, a caring mom. A mom who will kiss bumps and bruises while making them magically disappear. I will be a mom who prepares healthy home cooked breakfasts, lunches and dinners for my family. I will be a mom who will have clean children, a mom who will make my own baby food from fresh vegetables and I will breast feed until the baby is old enough to tolerate cow’s milk. I will be that mom whose house is completely childproofed. I will read every night to my children before tucking them into their own beds by eight o’clock sharp so that they will have a good night sleep. I will sanitize their toys and only allow them to watch educational shows. I will be a mom who never allows the television to be a babysitter but will engage with my children every moment and during every stage of development. I will not be a mom who, when my child drops a piece of food onto the floor, allows them to pick it up and finish eating it. I will be a mom who doesn’t allow my kids to eat candy nor bribe them with a host of treats and gifts to manipulate them to do something I want them to do.
No not me. My house will be clean, free from dust. All of my clothes will be ironed, nicely folded and put away. My husband will be satisfied every night. The dog will be walked every morning and evening. I will work out at least three times a week to lose any unwanted baby fat. My hair will always be clean and styled and my clothes will always be pressed and neat. I will not be a mom who wears sweats or a baseball cap even to run a quick errand to the store. I will be stylish. I will be the best mom ever. I will be better than Florida Evans (Good Times), Clair Huxtable (The Cosby Show) and Mrs. Brady (The Brady Bunch.) I have it all covered.
So I thought…
