“Today my daughter is born,” Donna said with a stern and serious look written across her face. She drew the knife along the center of Rachael’s abdomen. Rachael screamed at the raw pain that was searing hot as it traveled up her belly. She screamed, and screamed, until Donna forced a piece of fabric into her mouth. She could feel the blade of the knife traveling deeper and the feel of wet, warm blood oozing onto the bed.
Donna worked quickly, slicing with what appeared to be expertise. Cutting Rachael’s babies from her womb. Rachael closed her eyes, praying that God would intervene. She could smell the blood and actually hear the sounds of Donna cutting through flesh as she made the gash deeper to reach inside and pull Rachael’s babies from within her.
