ATLANTIS Remembrance of Things Past

Atlantis found! Is a future Pole Shift imminent as Edgar Cayce predicted? Read about forbidden love amidst ancient destruction. Travel back in time and experience the fantasy, romance, mysticism and prophecies of these ancient events woven with new age sensibilities and synchronicities.

Remnants of the lost continent of Atlantis have been found in the Caribbean off the islands of Bimini and Cuba. These fantastic archaeological finds cause the main character, Lea, a modern-day, high-powered, female executive of the Archaeology Magazine, Sojourner, to take a mystifying journey into an ancient mysterious, magical realm.

The reader is also propelled back to this enchanted time. Here, we meet Malachi, the High Priest of Athens, who proves to be an equal in his mastery of metaphysics and the mystical arts. Their love develops amidst the backdrop of war between Atlantis and Athens [as described by Plato] right before the Earth Changes and deluge occur [as described by Cayce] that destroy the continent of Atlantis.

This ancient cataclysmic event is contrasted with prophesized recurrent and fast approaching Earth Changes or Pole Shift of our planet.

Atlantis: Remembrance of Things Past is an action adventure with all the elements. The story focuses on the protagonist, Lea, who is thrust back into time to the 'lost continent of Atlantis.'

Ms. Grey explores philosophical, theoretical and historical issues as well as prophecy of future Earth Changes. The story's writing style is clever and creative. The author has done a vast array of homework on the subjects of archaeology, metaphysics and geological Earth Changes.

Excerpt
... — the timing of the Earth ∆ Change... I and some of our Inner Circle, clairvoyants, and prophets, have foreseen that the Earth Change may possibly start as early as next year this month. The specific date that has been given is December 12th...

...Edgar Cayce never pinpointed the exact date in which the Earth Change or Pole Shift would occur. Since he alluded to the future as not being ‘set’ that humankind could through free will by way of its decisions and deeds or through its intent and spirituality bring about variations in future events. Sometimes for the good, sometimes for the opposite. And, he was not ‘crystal clear’ (excuse the pun) on what source or event would actually cause the Pole Shift. However, he did hint at some ‘Cosmic event’ occurring which would bring about the Pole Shift...

...Some modern day researchers are now saying this Cosmic threat may indeed be in the form of an asteroid that impacts the Earth. Recently, evidence has been found that points to an ancient asteroid or asteroids impacting the Earth in and around the American Carolinas in the year 10,500 B.C. Geologists have named this impact the Carolina Event. This cataclysmic event, indeed, would have catastrophically affected the area in and around the Gulf, in the very vicinity they are now uncovering the ‘sunken cities’ off of the islands of Cuba and Bimini in the Caribbean. And, the timing, approximately 12,500 years ago is right, too...

...Another ‘theory’ widely believed and suggested by Sitchin in his book, The 12th Planet, is that a rogue planet is headed our way in a sort of bizarre sling-shot orbit that occurs every 3,500 years, or so. Though Lea knows his timing is off and, in reality, it is probably closer to a 10,000-12,000 year cycle. Surprisingly, the press has just recently reported that scientists have found another planet in our solar system, one beyond Pluto...

...The Ancient Sumerians in their myths and inscriptions, and Mesopotamian Deluge tales called this planet Nibiru (‘Planet of Crossing’). They said that Nibiru’s close orbit to Earth was a recurrent Cosmic event. Thereby, depending on how close its orbit is to Earth, upon Nibiru’s return the Earth is suddenly thrown into abrupt cataclysmic Earth Changes resulting in Biblical floods, earthquakes, and volcanism. In the words of the Sumerians, the torches of the Anunnaki (volcanoes) will be lit and they will spew their fire and ash throughout the world...

....Regardless of whatever brings about the Earth Change, be assured, it will happen as it has happened in the past and will recur, again, in the future. That day the Earth itself will wobble and tilt, lose its electro-magnetic field, then its crust will ‘slip’ over its molten core resulting in a sudden, cataclysmic Pole Shift. And, two-thirds of all living things on our planet will perish...

Some famous characters who appear briefly in the novel:

...not so very long ago, she had shown Leonardo DaVinci her mirror writing. Leo, an adept student but always the consummate copycat, immediately adopted this technique in his journals as a means of encrypting his writings, inventions, and overall musings... [Author's note: Leo referred to it as The DaVinci Code]

...Einstein, still with us, now resides in Tibet. ...the Dali Lama continually refuses.... ...although, he has an open invitation. Richard Gere accepted; Harrison Ford declined; Elvis lives nearby his Graceland Mansion and visits often...

Professional Reviews

iUniverse, Writer's Showcase Review

In Atlantis: Remembrance of Things Past, A. J. Grey creates an eclectic cast of characters with distinctive voice and vernacular. The author pays particular attention to setting as well, which makes for an enjoyable and educational read.

Denise's Pieces Book Reviews, Theresa Norman, Reviewer

A.J. Grey shows us a clear and very detailed description of what the city of Atlantis could have been like. Including the mystical powers that the people had, the aircraft technology they used and the simple ways of life that made their city so pure and gifted. If you ever wanted to know more about the lost continent, I highly recommend this book. It kind of makes you wonder if A.J. Grey was there herself!!
