Back upon the early years of The Times Before, many of the great Changeling wizards of color created protectors named Imps. These Imps, specifically fashioned by their creators for their duties, protect all the colorful creations made by the Changelings upon the Wolde. During these early times, the elusive Pixy protector of the floral proved most challenging for controlling by their carefree creator Môltan, the red Changeling of color. Poor Môltan simply could not convince his masses of Pixy to refrain from mischievous antics while performing their duties. Lord Aros loved all creations upon the Wolde equally, but the playful frolics and mischievous behavior of the Pixy Imps tested his resolve and patience quite frequently. Unlike other Imp protectors, the Pixy thoroughly enjoy a respite from their duty of protecting the floral as the cold winter season embarks upon the lands of the Wolde. This break and ensuing frolic of play and mischief by the Pixy often results in havoc across the lands during the wintry months.
