This book is a collection of sermons that offers hope through the word of God.
Something Ain't Right is a sermonic observation on contemporary times. This is done with a collection of fourteen sermons that are amplified by the word of God.
It is my prayer that this book will be uplifting and informative for all christians, especially those who are not bible scholars or daily devotees. I can still hear the old preacher saying " make it plain Son, Make it plain."
An old anecdote tells of an incident in New York where some spectators were commenting on a man who had fallen from the top of the Empire State Building and how the long fall had killed him. The policeman who was standing close by heard the comment and said not so! The fall did not kill him--it was the sudden stop that killed him.
It seems the world has been stricken with a debilitating illness that is terminal, but it does not show its symptoms until it's about to kill. We are seeing the epitaph of these times in the headlines of today's news. But only in Christ is there hope for salvation. So if you have realized that you are a sinner who needs to be saved, then now is the time to call upon the name of Jesus."For they that call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Common sense has died from that sudden stop. greed and power have become malignant. Water and air are poluted because of apathy and greed; and truth is no longer a commodity for change. In the gospel of John16:33, Jesus told his disciples that their sorrows would turn into joy. He said"these things I have spoken unto you that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
