Chad curved the fingers of his right hand into a fist. He could hardly count the number of times he’d had to fight the urge to touch her soft hair or hold her. He remembered when he’d caught the couple dancing in the living room last week. Their bodies were pressed close. His muscles had tightened instantly and the spasmodic clenching of his jaw had left it sore all the next day. He sighed again. Why did he have to feel something for his best friend’s girl?
