This is the sequel to A Patzer's Story.

It's a good day when you can wake up, accomplish something positive and go to bed knowing that you made your little part of the world a better place. I can't change the world, but if I can make my part better, maybe it will catch on. I do my best to apply the rules on a daily basis.

This is the sequel of "A Patzer's Story" where I chronicle the 'rules' in the book and relate my personal experiences.

What I learned from this experience is that applying negative to negative only yields negative. Remember basic math:-2 + (-2) = -4 and -2 -

(-2) = 0. When I am negative, I go into my downward spiral. If

I apply a positive to a negative, I turn toward or stay positive

which helps my psyche. It may not change the situation or the

person. In A Patzer’s Story I cautioned about those things that

you have no control over. What you do have control over is

your reaction.

Excerpt
I often struggle with the realization that my worth is not measured by what other people think about me. It is what I think about myself. While the opinions of others do certainly count, it is my opinion of myself that matters the most. With that, I have to make sure that I still have some measure of humility and not over-inflate my ego. It has to be kept in perspective. Humility is something that I don’t have a problem with, because I know that I am far from perfect and I make more than my share of mistakes. However I also make my share of accomplishments. While a lot of these accomplishments and milestones are often not recognized or even minimized, I still accomplished something. I finally have the sense to carry an umbrella, because there is always someone out there who will try to rain on my parade.
