About this book:

A  very intimate description, about a life story of a man growing up in two distinctly different societies. With little pairental guidance after his arrival in Canada. He quickly learns to overcome the many problems that he encounters through his life. His new chalange is racism with shades of color and intolerance which is dealt with head on, as he struggles to understand human behavour , marriage conflict and the ethics used between people in his life and workplace. By always keeping a strong determination to overcome problems. He never loses his profound belief in the spiritual side of humanity, which usually helps to get him through.

The Jamaica of today is certainly not  the Jamaica that I knew as a boy growing up in pre-independent Jamaica.

This is a story of a man born into a family where intolerance and un-acceptance existed, as it did affect my mothers relationship with my father in a negative way mainly because of his skin color. What I have grown to understand is that human behavior is complicated when it comes to racism, which cannot be blamed on any one group of people. If it was not for the basic structure of my childhood rearing which was a positive one, it always carried me throughout my life.
