It was just supposed to be a race...not the fate of humanity.

Terminus X is based on an unprecedented deserter which happens after the sun ejects a massive cloud of charged plasma particles and life-altering radiation. When the solar wind reaches Earth, it destroys electronics and heats the Earth's core to a point the planet is shattered into fragments around its molten core and moon.

One hundred years later society slowly reorganizes itself, forcing a government system onto the survivors: Xigen and HumaniX. Any leftover survivors were placed into a five-tiered cast system consisting of: Priests, Communicators, Warriors, Outcasts, and the Dregs.

With HumaniX the government outfitted with advanced in technology their reign of dominance is soon challenge by the Xigen who organize themselves with the leadership of a powerful royal family with no end of the conflict in sight.

This story is available in both E-book and Paperback

That was until they flew right into the heart of a battle between the two main factions of humanity, the Xigen and HumaniX. Now caught up in a complicated web of politics, shadowy manipulations, and open warfare, Nelson and Travis are poised to decide the fate of the whole human race. And they've no idea who, if anyone, will survive...

Professional Reviews

Flyboys
Two men, Travis and Nelson, decide to take part in a race. The reader is drawn into the contest by our two heroes. The two men, however, are soon part of the conflict between two powers - locked in a war. It looks like curtains for sure! The book is crafted with care. Ward is a wordsmith.

Ward has created an exciting Science Fiction thriller. The conversation is well done. The days of Buck Rogers return. This is a great book for boys of all ages - from 8 to 80!

Took a leap of faith into a new genre for this reader...and it was killer!
This story blends tension, risk, and a relationship that two courageous adventurers share that can have permanent devastating results, or a salvation. Sci Fi isn't generally my genre of choice, but I was surprised by how the story really drew me in. Ward impressed me and may have just turned me into a fan of a genre I hadn't tapped into before. Definitely worth trying something new. This author is an adventurous, wildly creative writer.

Welcome to After Earth
Ward paints a breathtakingly vivid, and beautiful picture of a futuristic, magic world with majestic skies, lavish, floating cities and hot and sexy babes. The technology on this version of earth is far advanced and quite sophisticated. This new earth is overrun by war and controlled by several tyrannical governments who force people into caste systems and virtual slavery, hoarding resources where they can make astronomical profits.

I was really impressed by Ward's vivid imagery and I found myself fully immersed in this fantastic landscape of beautiful skies and floating metropolises. I actually felt like I was flying on one of the ships that Travis Medwin inhabited. The writing is articulate, clean and very fresh and it made me wish I could find the nearest two-seater aircraft and take to the skies for an exciting adventure!

Give this a shot if you are looking for a short and fantastic adventure to a wonderful new world.
