When her fiancé called off the wedding and told her he’d had better sex with a blow up doll, Candace traded in her honeymoon cruise for a week on the Lothario, the most notorious ship to ever sail the high seas. Little does she know that Ryan, the sexy passenger who offered to be her escort as she samples all the ship has to offer, is really Ryan Callahan, the ship’s playboy owner.
Ryan Callahan is single, rich, and considered quite the catch. Two years ago he and his business partner launched the Lothario, a floating den of iniquity where passengers can indulge their every sexual fantasy, but since the ship docked following its maiden cruise, Ryan has been so scarce he’s earned the nickname, Monk, until sweet, naïve Candace coaxes him out of his tower, heats his blood, and steals his heart. But will she still want him when she finds out who he really is?
Candace didn’t know what to expect, but when she stepped into her stateroom she knew this wasn’t it. The wall above the bed depicted a peaceful scene of a seaside villa at sunset and the rest of the room resembled a Greek boudoir. Pillows in shades of cream and white, trimmed with gold Hellenic borders, covered the king-sized bed. A matching comforter added a luxurious touch. For a moment Candace forgot all her qualms and flopped on her back onto the billowing soft bed and looked straight up. “Oh. My. God.” A wide-eyed reflection of herself stared back at her from the mirrored ceiling.
She rose to a sitting position, grateful for the comfortable mattress. If she could get past seeing herself in bed she would sleep well. Candace stared at the welcome basket on the built-in vanity. The elaborate arrangement, more than anything else, brought home the enormity of the mistake she’d made by letting her friends talk her into this cruise. She didn’t like to think of herself as a prude, but the array of sex toys and suggestive items in the basket told her how naïve she was. She poked through the basket, afraid to touch the contents. A few, like the rubber penis, were self-explanatory, but Candace blushed as she read the instructions on the boxes. Clearly there was a lot more to sex than she’d ever dreamed of. Among the toys, creams and oils were several books. Like most college co-eds she’d explored the Kama Sutra. The one in the basket was a modern version, complete with full color photos that had more than her skin heating. Maybe it wasn’t too late to go ashore. She ran to the outside door and stepped onto the glass-enclosed balcony. Miami was nothing more than a speck on the horizon. The Lothario had sailed, and her ship was sunk. Somehow she would have to figure out a way to make the most of the situation.
Night Owl Reviews
The author was not kidding when she said this cruise is not your grandparents cruise. The Lust Boat was one erotic scene after another that made your senses and imagination run wild. I loved it. While the author surrounded Candace with people living out their fantasies, it was so very sensual and even erotic in itself to follow how Candace and Ryan fell in love. I also enjoyed reading how the heroine over came her lack of sexual self-confidence which was callously inflicted on her by her ex-fiancé. While the story did not entirely focus on conflict, or emotional set-backs, I found it a well rounded story that made me believe in love at first sight again. There should be more 'Ryans' in this world for sure! Ms. Lee tied up the plot very well by the end and left me curious as to what she has planned for her next book.
The story began with Candace boarding the Lothario, the cruise ship of your fantasies. For most of the story they stay aboard with one exception of a day of sand and surf on a private island just for Lothario guests. A steamy scene you should not miss!
I liked Ms. Lee's voice. She delivered a book that grabbed my attention with delicious and sensual detail. Her characters showed the story so well, I could actually smell the salty sea air and taste the rich chocolate Candace enjoyed while on board the Lothario! Ms. Lee wrote with a clear point of view allowing me to follow each character that walked on the page. Her dialogue between the characters kept me turning the pages!
I love when I find a character I can connect with. Candace is the sweet girl next door type that would do anything to help you if she could. While she was dealt a bad hand with her ex-fiancé, she bounced back stronger and more determined to find her own happiness. She was scared to trust again, but she allowed herself the opportunity to possibly find that special person in Ryan.
When a hero as kind-hearted as Ryan walks onto the page you can't help but want him for yourself. With all the tenderness and attention he pampered Candace with, you absolutely want them to fall in love and live happily ever after. But it is never that simple. Ryan is left with only a week to convince Candace he truly does love her and not using her as just another weekly fling and find a way to explain to her why he wasn't completely honest with her about who he really is.
Debut author Roz Lee, has started out her career with a fabulous book. I loved how she mixed the erotic fantasies of the Lothario with the sensual and loving desires between the two main characters. I recommend this book to anyone that loves to read about a heroine that finds their own while allowing themselves the pleasures of their fantasies. And just maybe finding true love in the end.

Just Erotic Romance Reviews
Candace Williams boarded the cruise ship Lothario and immediately wondered how she was going to get through this cruise, especially since she really didn’t want to be here. Her so called friends had booked it for her at the last minute after her louse of a fiancée dumped her. They said it was a “singles” cruise. They left a lot of details out. So instead of a honeymoon Candace found herself on an “Erotic” cruise. Hmmmm, well it should be interesting, especially since her ex-fiancée told her he could have better sex with a blow up doll. Ryan worked on the boat in a behind the scenes manor these days. When he spotted Candace boarding the ship he knew she was different, not the usual type on this cruise. She was an innocent. And that piqued his curiosity. So much so that for the first time in a long while Ryan wanted to spend time with Candace. Will the skittish Candace spend her adult trip in her cabin alone or will she let Ryan be her own personal cruise director and show her there is more to life and love than she ever knew?
When I first started reading The Lust Boat, I couldn’t help but think to myself “why the heck did I pick this story?” It didn’t take me long to figure it out. Ms. Lee’s debut novel and the first in her Lothario series indulge us in one sexual fantasy after another. She really knows how to show her readers a great time. The Lothario is as much a character in the story as the characters themselves and a great backdrop for an erotic romance series. Each setting is meticulously well thought out and well defined. Every possible scenario and every sexual fantasy is explored. However, Ms. Lee is also good at presenting a romance that progresses smoothly as the story moves along; the love between Candace and Ryan builds slowly as they explore the ship together and learn about each other. The sex is plentiful, steamy hot and definitely exceptional. If you’re looking for some steamy entertainment consider booking a cruise on the sizzling Lothario, I’m pretty sure you won’t regret it. I know I am already looking for book two in this series.
The Romance Reviews
Take a cruise ship, a millionaire playboy, a woman on the rebound, lots of sex and you have this outstanding work by debut author Roz Lee. The pages sizzle and your heart melts as this book heats up your nights.
Remember that show from the 80s, The Love Boat? Well, this story isn't about that cruise ship! On this one, the passengers and crew are mostly naked, all the activities are about sex. As the blurb says - this isn't your grandparent's cruise ship!
Ryan Callahan and his business partner Richard Wolfe took money they made in a dating program and started up "The Lothario". This cruise ship provides a one of a kind, sex-focused cruise. The passengers are provided with a sarong to wear, and as many condoms and sex toys as they can use. All of the activities focus around sex. You can take a class in oral sex, bondage or participate in various stamina contests.
Ryan Callahan discovered after the maiden voyage that he wasn't really interested in no-strings sex, but the cruise boat was making money hand over fist. He keeps himself busy running the ship from his office and managing their money, but rarely comes out of his suite. He is immediately attracted to Candace as soon as he sees her boarding the ship, and sets out to show her that he is the only man for her.
Candace is on this cruise because her fiance said she was frigid when he broke up with her. She's a duck out of water, and is grateful for Ryan's escort. Her education starts right away, and she soon comes to realize how wrong her fiance was!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The sex is hot and the chemistry between Ryan and Candace sets the pages on fire. What caught me by surprise was the depth of the story crammed into 175 pages! The reader is taken along to watch the development of Ryan and Candace's relationship and the bolstering of Candace's confidence that occurs along the way. What started as possibly a huge mistake for Candace turned into the best thing she could have done!
This author writes in such a vivid fashion that the reader has no problem visualizing the story as it unfolds. THE LUST BOAT is an interesting premise for a story, and one that has the reader laughing, sighing, cringing and wiping the steam from their glasses!
An absolutely outstanding book for a debut author. This one belongs on the keeper shelf. Pick up a copy today!
